How to Block a Number on iPhone (2026) — and the Faster Way to Stop Spam

The iPhone can block a number, but you have to do it by hand. Open the Phone app, tap Recents, find the call, tap the small (i) icon next to it, scroll all the way to the bottom, tap “Block this Caller,” and confirm. If the number isn't already in your Recents or Contacts, there's no built-in way to block it at all.
